Sheridan’s Business Administration – Marketing Program stands apart from other marketing programs. Our marketing diploma graduates have applied skills. That means you possess the practical know-how to back up the theory you’ve also learned. It’s a combination employers find irresistible.

You’ll study all aspects of marketing including:
  • Basic business skills such as finance and how to use business computer software
  • Research skills — the core of a sound marketing strategy
  • How companies like Apple, Canadian Tire and Wal-Mart keep customers satisfied
    through customer relationship management
  • International business skills — how to go global

Exceptional Educators, Innovative Classroom Activities

Each professor in the Sheridan Marketing program is not only an outstanding educator, but also an experienced businessperson who knows what it’s like to work in the real world. These talented professors use highly creative means to teach, including having students:

  • Undertake applied classroom activities in groups, for example, visiting a major corporation’s website and comparing its branding to that of another organization
  • Hear presentations by industry guest speakers
  • Visit area businesses, and then write marketing communications for them
  • Explore case studies of both thriving and struggling businesses

Mobile Computing Gives Flexibility and Added Learning Options

Both in class and out, you will connect to class activities, notes and presentations via your laptop computer. You have access to the materials 24/7 and can visit chatrooms to discuss assignments with classmates and/or professors. After Year One, you will be using a laptop in your classes.

Co-op Opportunity

If you’re a three-year Marketing advanced diploma student, you can add valuable work experience to your résumé through cooperative education. You’ll spend your final two years in the program alternating between school and work, applying what you are learning in class in the workplace.

Additional Opportunities

If you want, the Sheridan Marketing advanced diploma program can be just a beginning. You may be able to move directly into a Global Business Management applied degree program at Sheridan or attend universities like Ryerson, Lakehead, Athabasca, Northwood and Griffith.

Convenient Learning

The two-year Marketing diploma program can be completed during the day on campus, or through evening, weekend and online study. You get the same curriculum and can even take part of your courses online, and part in the classroom.

The Marketing diploma program is located at the Davis Campus in Brampton, Ontario and at the Trafalgar Road Campus in Oakville, Ontario.
