Sheridan’s Business Process Management program, which has been accredited by the Canadian Supply Chain Sector Council, gives you the skills you need to improve operational efficiency and save money. Skills you gain in this program are highly valued by employers in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. For instance, Business Process Management achieves such benefits as:

  • Reducing surgery wait times from months to weeks
  • Helping Dell deliver a custom configured computer to your door in just days
  • Assuring that the Canada Revenue Agency can process tax returns and issue
refunds in days rather than months

To accommodate the schedule of working adults, Business Process Management classes meet two evenings a week in addition to a total of three intensive one-week sessions. The remainder of the program is presented in a convenient online format.

Through the program you will learn how to:

  • Use SAP enterprise resource planning software (Sheridan is a member of the SAP University Alliances program.)
  • Develop new or improved business processes to achieve organizational goals
  • Integrate appropriate technologies for analysis and development of business processes
  • Create sound business arguments justifying process change
  • Work professionally, ethically and effectively in individual and team environments

The Business Process Management program focuses on manufacturing, supply chain, financial services and health care industries, in both the public and private sectors.

Hands-on Industry Project

The Business Process Management program includes a second term industry project. As part of a small consulting team, you will tackle a real business problem with a client company.

Learn via Case Studies

The Business Process Management program employs a case study method of instruction that allows you to explore practical rather than theoretical situations in a structured learning environment.

Cooperative Learning Experience

At the end of the academic portion of the Business Process Management program, you may choose to participate in a work term. With the assistance of the Cooperative Education department and your professors you will be placed in a company where you gain further hands-on experience

The Business Process Management program is located at the Davis Campus in Brampton, Ontario.
