“I learned more in eight months at Sheridan than I did in four years at university.” More than one graduate of Sheridan’s Marketing Management program has said something like that. And it’s not hard to see why. You may learn theory at university, but at Sheridan you also gain the practical skills employers want and need along with a cooperative learning placement that gives you invaluable on-the-job experience.

Here are a few of the things you’ll accomplish during your year of marketing management training:
  • Write marketing plans that analyze the unique situation a firm faces and make recommendations on actions to keep the organization competitive
  • Conduct market research for an actual client and use it as background for a marketing plan
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and marketing communications plans
  • Know the basic principles of customer relationship management and supply chain management along with a broad range of strategies to optimize both
  • Get prepared for the challenges of global marketing

Cooperative Education Opportunity

Following eight months of Marketing Management classroom instruction, you will participate in a four-month cooperative education placement within the marketing field. This on-the-job experience can be just the career boost you need to land a great job.

Mobile Computing Program

Business runs on technology today and this Marketing Management program does too. You will need to bring a laptop to class - it’s an integral part of everything we do. All materials used in class are available online and you will undertake collaborative assignments with your classmates working on the computer. Plus, you’ll have 24/7access to class materials, notes and even to a chat room where you can confer with other students and your professors.

The Marketing Management program is offered at the Trafalgar Road Campus in Oakville, Ontario.

Employers of this program’s graduates are 100% satisfied. As a graduate of our Marketing Management program, you’ll be primed for the job market, ready to begin work. In one short year, you gain real skills you can put to use right away.
